PARALEGAL PROFILE
Meili Bell
Meili has been a paralegal to Bryant McConkie since November 2024.
Before joining McConkie Hales & Jones, she worked as the Content Manager at SixFifty, a legal software company. There, she wrote and edited articles, collateral, and web content. Serving as the marketing department’s liaison to the legal team, she collaborated with attorneys to craft material that was both legally relevant and accessible to non-lawyers.
Before transitioning into the legal field, Meili spent ten years as Director of the Conservatory at Gifted Music School. She managed a program of 40 full-scholarship students and 17 faculty members, overseeing 18 hours of advanced music instruction each week and organizing 18 special events annually. She found deep fulfillment working with some of Utah’s most dedicated young musicians. Her favorite parts of the job included listening in on rehearsals and ensuring that backstage shenanigans remained just on the right side of delightful chaos. A musician herself, Meili has played violin in the Strings of Elegance quartet for over 20 years. The group performs around 25 weddings annually, mostly in Utah’s scenic mountain venues.
Meili holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Utah. She has yet to successfully disguise her excitement when her kids ask for help with their math homework. To her, math (much like the law) is one big, delightful puzzle just waiting to be solved.
Meili is married with three busy, creative kids. In her free time, she likes to read, write, hike, and lounge within arm’s length of snacks like a Victorian heroine awaiting dramatic developments.
